Refund Policy

Try it before you pay
Every account starts with [50] free applications and no card. That exists so you can find out whether Slothpilot works for the roles you’re chasing before any money changes hands — which is the honest way to avoid most refund requests.
Your first payment: 14 days
If you subscribe and it isn’t what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You don’t have to justify it.
Renewals
Renewal payments are not automatically refunded, because you can cancel at any time before one happens and we tell you nothing you can’t check yourself in the dashboard.
That said: if a renewal caught you out and you haven’t used the service in that period, write to us. We would rather refund it than have you feel cheated.
Cancelling
Cancel from Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription at any time. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not end your access immediately. You keep the service until the end of the period you have already paid for, because you paid for it.
When we may decline
- Where the account has been used to abuse the service, or in breach of our Terms.
- Where a refund has already been given for the same subscription.
- Where a job board has restricted your account as a result of your own use — we say plainly in the Terms that this is a risk you take, and it isn’t a fault in what you paid for.
How to ask
Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address on your account, and say which payment. We aim to reply within [2] business days and to process an approved refund within [10].
Payments are taken by Paddle, who are the merchant of record and appear on your statement. Refunds are issued back through them to your original payment method, and their own buyer terms apply alongside this policy. You can also contact Paddle directly using the link on your receipt.
Before you charge back
If something has gone wrong, please email us first. A chargeback costs us a fee and closes the account automatically, which is a worse outcome than a refund we would very likely have given you anyway.
